More than 1,000 cases of a mysterious lung disease have been linked to the use of e-cigarettes, vape pens and similar devices, resulting in 18 deaths to date. We know that vaping has negative effects on the lungs, but we are only beginning to understand the impact of vaping on vision health.
Dr. Lindahl discusses technology with local Optometrists

On October 16, 2019, Dr. Ken Lindahl was the keynote speaker at the Rochester Optometric Society. He presented to approximately 70 local Optometrists over a dinner at the Inn On Broadway. His presentation, named How Low Can We Go? - Surgical Correction of Astigmatism and Glaucoma Surgery for the Cataract Patient was very well received.
Dr. Lindahl discussed his philosophy on managing astigmatism, tools and diagnostics, glaucoma treatment for the cataract patient and advanced technologies. He reviewed a series of case studies and took Q & A in this interactive presentation. Optometrists received Continuing Education credits for attending.
