Finally, a treatment for age related blurry near vision!
Bottle_1637684779391-HRPresbyopia or age-related blurry near vision is a common, progressive, eye condition that reduces the eye's ability to focus on close objects, affecting most adults over age 40.

As we age, it becomes harder to see things up close. But now there’s VUITY. The first and only prescription eye drop to treat age-related Blurry Near Vision (presbyopia) in adults.

VUITY™ may help patients with presbyopia see up close

In clinical studies where patients received one drop of VUITY™ in each eye once daily, this was measured by the proportion of patients achieving a 3-line gain or more reading a near vision eye chart without losing more than 1 line in a distance vision eye chart at Day 30, 3 hours after dosing.

How does VUITY™ work?

VUITY™ primarily works by reducing your pupil size to help you see up close.

One drop in each eye, once daily to help improve near vision in presbyopia patients. If more than one type of eyedrop is being used, administer at least 5 minutes apart.

Remove your contact lenses before using VUITY™ and wait 10 minutes after dosing before reinserting your contact lenses.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

  • Do not use VUITY if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • Use caution when driving at night or performing hazardous activities in poor lighting.
  • Temporary problems when changing focus between near and distant objects may occur. Do not drive or use machinery if your vision is not clear.
  • Seek immediate medical care if you experience any sudden vision loss.
  • If you wear contact lenses, they should be removed prior to VUITY use. Wait 10 minutes after dosing before reinserting contact lenses.
  • Do not touch the dropper tip on any surface as this may contaminate the contents.
  • If more than one topical eye medication is being used, the medicines must be administered at least 5 minutes apart.
  • The most common side effects are headaches and eye redness. These are not all the possible side effects of VUITY.

What do I do if I want to try Vuity?

You will need an eye exam to see if you are a good candidate for Vuity. If you are, the doctor will prescribe the eye drops.

In most cases, the exam is covered by insurance. Give us a call (585)232-2560 ext.1, and we will check your insurance coverage before booking an appointment.
